He has already shared the stage with the likes of Elton John and Beyonce.
But now 11-year-old musician Ethan Bortnick is also a proud Guinness World Record holder.
The piano-playing supremo has been awarded the title of The World’s Youngest Solo Musician to Headline his own Tour.
The record was confirmed following his concert tour two years ago when he was just nine.
An official from Guinness presented Ethan with his certificate yesterday in New York City.
The sixth grader began playing the piano at the tender age of three.
He had noticed his classmates in Hollywood, Florida, heading off to piano lessons and decided he wanted to join them. But it took a bit of persuading before his parents realised he had a talent.
‘On the little toy keyboard, I was playing everything that I heard I would just start mimicking on it.
‘And the first song was ‘Alla Turca’ by Mozart, which I just played.
‘But I was very bad because my little keyboard, it was like ten keys, but then I learned it for real – but after my parents saw they finally said I could have piano lessons.’
Incredibly, as well as being extremely gifted on the piano, Ethan is also a dab hand at the guitar, drums and singing.
