Two weeks after announcing that she is pregnant again, Amanda Holden was taken to hospital yesterday following a road crash.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge – who lost an unborn child earlier this year – was driving when her car collided with a lorry.
Another driver took her to hospital where she was treated for cuts and bruises. Doctors told the three-months-pregnant star that the baby was ‘fine’.
Although she missed last night’s performance as Princess Fiona in the West End musical Shrek, she was hopeful of returning to the role tonight.
A source told the Sun: ‘She was terrified the impact and the shock could have harmed her unborn child and left her third miscarriage in 18 months.
‘She knew she had to get to hospital as soon as possible. She feels she’s had an incredibly lucky escape.’
