Alicia Rallies Stars For Children With Aids

Alicia Keys has hosted the Keep A Child Alive Black Ball to raise money for the charity which helps families affected by Aids and HIV in Africa and India.The organisation was founded in 2003 and has since helped 250,000 people, raising over £17m.

The star-studded event, at the Roundhouse in north London and co-hosted by Mark Ronson, featured guests including Tinie Tempah, Paloma Faith, Chipmunk, Beth Ditto and Jay Sean.

Grammy Award winning singer Keys – who is most famous for her hit single Empire State Of Mind with Jay-Z – is celebrating 10 years since she released her debut album Songs In A Minor.

The star says she has changed a lot since she started out, especially since starting a family.
