The mother of a five-year-old girl who was paralysed for life in a gang shooting sobbed yesterday as she saw CCTV footage of the moment her daughter was hit.
Sharmila Kamaleswaran broke down at the sight of her daughter Thusha sprawled helpless on the floor after she was shot by a stray bullet at her uncle’s grocery store.
Mrs Kamaleswaran was comforted by her husband Jeyakumar Ghanasekaram as she watched the images for the first time at the Old Bailey.
