A mother whose toddler son died in her own home has called for the window blinds which killed him to be banned.
Rachel Lawlor had left three-year-old son Harrison in the lounge of her family home, but minutes later found him entangled in the looped cord of a window blind.
Despite attempts to revive him he was pronounced dead at Good Hope Hospital.
Mrs Lawlor said: “Harrison, our beautiful boy was taken away from us. I just hope our campaign stops this from happening ever again.”
The couple are campaigning for Harrisons Law, which would see a looped cord mechanism banned. A petition on the Downing Street website has already attracted more than 3,000 names…..Continue reading
