I was inspired to post this piece, by a teacher, Mary, after reading Greg Hurst’s article on Finnish schools today. Greg points out that the schools in Finland - so beloved by the Conservative party - are completely comprehensive. There aren’t any private schools and inclusion is practised positively, from the start to the end of a child’s years at school.
