‘Angel-faced monster’: Boy, 8, hit teacher, set fire to family home, pushed his grandfather down stairs and tortured the dog

He looks as if butter wouldn’t melt in his mouth as he gives his mother a loving cuddle.

But such domestic harmony is an all-too-fleeting part of Kieran Prickett’s life, as his long-suffering family and teachers can confirm.

At the age of eight, he has already been expelled from primary school after a string of violent outbursts towards other pupils and staff which ended when he hit a teacher.

At home Kieran is no angel either. When he was five, for no apparent reason, he set fire to his parents’ bedroom with a cigarette lighter, forcing his family to move out for a month while the damage was repaired….Continue Reading
